Skill 2: good pedaling habits.

When encountering a long slope or steep slope, it is not feasible to simply accelerate and sprint.

At this time, it is necessary to change different gears, maintain a certain pedal frequency, and let the bicycle climb up continuously.

In addition, when climbing a long and steep slope, the rider’s center of gravity should move forward as much as possible, maintain a uniform pedaling action, change gears in time, do not pause or suddenly exert force, and do not get off easily.

The timing of gear change depends on the slope and speed.

Two points should be considered: first, the shift should be able to maintain the uniform pedaling force of the rider; second, the shift timing should be slightly ahead of schedule.

Don’t shift until you can’t ride and the speed drops completely.

It should be noted that the steeper the slope, the lower the gear should be, and when going uphill, the distance between the front and rear vehicles should not be too close, because it is inevitable to swing left and right when going uphill, which is prone to collision accidents.

Skill 4: when riding downhill, you will encounter uphill road and downhill road naturally.

Compared with the hard work of going uphill, going downhill is not so hard, but it is more dangerous and prone to accidents.

Therefore, in order to ensure the safety when going downhill, you need to do the following: first, carefully check the vehicle, especially the brake, before going downhill to keep it sensitive and reliable; Don’t drive too fast and always keep it in a controllable range; A safe distance shall be maintained between the rear vehicle and the front vehicle to prevent the front vehicle from affecting the line of sight.

If you find a situation, slow down in advance and prepare for it; When passing a curve, the body and the vehicle body shall be kept on the same plane or in a straight line.

People and vehicles incline into the curve at the same time to overcome the centrifugal force.

The inclination angle depends on the speed and the radius of the curve, but generally does not exceed 28 °; If the ramp is too long or too steep, get off at the right time to have a rest and check the vehicle.
