A letter from Lu’an No. 1 Middle School about students riding non-motor vehicles to their parents

Click the blue letter to pay attention to our respected parents and friends: Hello! First of all, please accept our heartfelt thanks! Thank you for your full trust and support in our work! Our new campus has been put into use for nearly two years.

The campus environment is getting better and better, and the campus is in good order.

However, the roads in the campus have many ramps and large gradients, and the water area is also wide.

The roads in the campus and the area around the teaching building are fire safety passages.

At present, there are serious violations of non-motor vehicles occupied by students.

When students ride non-motor vehicles in the campus, they often encounter dangerous situations such as reverse driving, chasing and racing, turning around at will, and carrying people illegally, A large number of battery cars charged at the same time also have great fire safety risks.

In addition, students usually have few opportunities to exercise and study hard all day.

In order to strengthen their physique and grow healthily, we encourage students to walk as much as possible and exercise more on campus.

To this end, in order to strengthen the safety management of non-motor vehicles on campus, prevent and reduce traffic accidents inside and outside the school, ensure the safety and health of students, and ensure the normal education and teaching order of the school, in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations such as the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Road Traffic Management and the Measures for the Safety Management of Primary and Secondary Schools and Kindergartens, and in combination with the actual situation of the school, the school now makes the following requirements on the management of non-motor vehicles for students: As the first responsible person for children’s safety, parents should educate and guide children to abide by traffic regulations, prohibit students under the age of 12 from riding bicycles to and from school, and prohibit students under the age of 16 from riding electric bikes to and from school.

2、 Non-motor vehicles shall abide by traffic rules, wear helmets, ride on the right side of the non-motor vehicle lane, and shall not drive on the motor vehicle lane, run the red light, or drive distracted.

3、 Parents should not use non-standard electric tricycles to transport students to and from school, and students should also avoid taking non-standard electric tricycles.

4、 Since the spring semester of 2023, all students’ non-motor vehicles should be parked in the designated parking space outside the school gate in a standardized and orderly manner, and the locks should be put on to avoid loss.

Let’s join hands, start from abiding by road traffic safety laws and regulations, start from caring for children’s health, protect life, and make unremitting efforts to deepen the construction of “safe campus”! Thank you for your understanding, support and cooperation! I wish you and your family good health! Work smoothly! On January 28, 2023, the Political and Educational Office of the First Middle School in Lu’an City, Beijing, made the world its own responsibility.
