Ma On Shan, located in the New Territories of Hong Kong, is one of the famous country parks in Hong Kong.
At the top of Ma On Shan, we can see a vast grassland with herds of wild cattle living leisurely on it.
We can also overlook the sea view of Sai Kung, making it the “Little Switzerland of Hong Kong”.
We will also pass by the Lutheran Church and the Miners Cafe, and check in at one of the popular check-in points along the way, the largest vine tree in Hong Kong – the Maoping Vine Emperor.
Along the way, there are lush green trees and a bamboo forest worth crossing.
We will also pass through an abandoned ancient village, which has long been occupied by trees and covered in moss.
