Kuqa to Dushanzi itinerary – Anti cycling strategy for Duku Highway – Flying to Duku Station
The Duku Highway starts from Dushanzi in the north and ends in Kuche in the south, with a total length of 561 kilometers, crossing the Tianshan Mountains and connecting northern and southern Xinjiang.
Spanning through towering mountains and valleys, connecting numerous ethnic minority settlements.
Its connectivity has shortened the distance between northern and southern Xinjiang from over 1000 kilometers to nearly half.
It was also selected by China National Geographic as the “Landscape Avenue that runs through the backbone of the Tianshan Mountains”.
