Is there a new way to play cycling? But I don’t recommend you blindly following | Interview with Cheng Xiaohu, the Universal Bicycle

CargoBike, also commonly known as a freight bicycle, has been another emerging riding gameplay in the past two years.

I don’t know if everyone has a feeling of familiarity and unfamiliarity with this car model.

Familiarity lies in the fact that we can always see various human tricycles placed behind cargo boxes on the streets and alleys; And the strangeness lies in that we have not been exposed to the concept of CargoBike, and perhaps we have only seen Dutch bicycles with cargo boxes in front online.

There is nothing else, just relying on CargoBike’s unique body design, high DIY matching gameplay, and more additional cargo carrying functions (cargo, passenger, vehicle, etc.).

As the saying goes, rather than delving into it ourselves, it’s better to find professionals to answer us, right? So today Ryan was fortunate enough to invite the first batch of CargoBike players in China and the leading CargoBike cultural promoter in China – Cheng Xiaohu, to tell us about it.

Cheng Xiaohu, who has been working in the bicycle industry for more than ten years, now runs a CargoBike studio called the Universal Bicycle Manager’s Office, from dead flies and road cars to the current CargoBike.

What is the reason why a person who is so obsessed with bicycles would stop at CargoBike? What is the charm of CargoBike? Next, let’s talk about~image: Universal Bicycle Transmission Room.

It is understood that you started riding CargoBike as early as 2016, what kind of opportunity was it at that time? How did CargoBike attract you? At that time, I happened to work at FactoryFive (a well-known bicycle studio in Shanghai at the time), and our boss said he wanted to promote CargoBike in China.

The response was quite strong, but few people bought it.

In the end, only two CargoBikes were introduced, one was mine (in Shanghai) and the other went to Hangzhou.

Why did I suddenly switch to CargoBike when I was originally riding a dead fly or road bike? Because I happened to have a child, the sense of responsibility as a father suddenly emerged
