Notes on cycling: riding a bicycle in the countryside on the first day of the New Year

This year, I went back to my hometown to celebrate the New Year.

I took a folding bike with me and planned to take a stroll in the nearby countryside in my spare time.

Although they are local people, they are not familiar with the nearby villages.

Besides, in recent years, many villages have made rapid progress in construction and have already changed their old appearance.

The cycling route: Aotou Village – Cultural and Educational Village – Wennan Village – Shuihou Village – Jiamei Village.

On the first day of the New Year, according to the custom, I get up at 3:30 in the evening to worship, and work for about an hour, then continue to sleep.

Get up in the morning, brew some black tea, add some condensed milk, make your own milk tea, and simply eat breakfast.

Hainan people taste sweet, and most people like to drink tea with condensed milk.

I usually don’t add condensed milk and prefer to drink green tea.

This time I just want to try how it tastes.

The family prepared lunch.

There is no chicken without a table here.

We have chicken for every meal during the Spring Festival.

During the Spring Festival, beans are particularly expensive.

They cost more than 20 yuan per kilogram.

In the future, we should prepare some in advance.

After lunch, I had a rest at noon.

I had nothing to do in the afternoon, so I went out to walk around the village by bike.

In the afternoon of Aotou Village, Wennan Village came to Shuihou Village, a beautiful village, on a cloudy day.

The rural construction is really good, with good natural environment and excellent cultural environment.

There is also the Bamen Bay greenway that runs through the whole village.

Unfortunately, there was not enough time that day.

I didn’t ride the greenway.

Unexpectedly, I met two riders in the village, who were also from the nearby village.

Finally, I came to Jiamei Village.

Wenchang is a famous old revolutionary base, a red rural tourist spot, a provincial civilized ecological village, and a national forest village.

This time, the “old granny” rides 16 kilometers for leisure.

This folding bike is not fast at all.

It is not difficult to ride, and it is easier than hiking.

In fact, the tourism resources of Wenjiao Town are OK, including Bamen Bay and Wenjiao River, which are conducive to the development of fisheries and agriculture.
