@Beijinger: You have to know about driving, cycling and taking the bus in September!

Influenced by multiple factors such as centralized school opening, large-scale activities, Teacher’s Day and the approaching Mid Autumn Festival National Day shopping, Beijing’s traffic conditions are quite stressful every September.

The service trade fair in early September of this year also made drivers in Beijing feel the momentum of “the most blocked September”.

In late September, the traffic pressure in Beijing is still relatively prominent.

The morning rush hour on weekdays will be brought forward to 6:45, and the duration will also be extended by one hour, especially the rush hour on Monday morning and Friday night (traffic limit 4 and 9).

The traffic flow of Jingtong Expressway, Beijing Hong Kong Macao Expressway, Lianshi Road, Wanquanhe Road, Beijing Tibet Expressway, Beijing Chengde Expressway, Airport Expressway, Second Ring Road and Third Ring Road increased significantly.

It is recommended to leave more than half an hour in advance for morning and evening peak travel.

At the end of September, it is expected that the number of citizens traveling will increase significantly compared with the summer vacation.

The Beijing Harbin Expressway, Beijing Chengde Expressway, Beijing Tibet Expressway and other expressways, as well as some national highways, will see a tidal flow of vehicles leaving Beijing from Saturday morning to noon and returning to Beijing from Sunday afternoon to evening.

In previous years, popular scenic spots such as Tian’anmen, Fangshan Shidu, Gubei Water Town, and the World Horticultural Exposition are still hot, and the surrounding roads are prone to queue up vehicles and have tight parking spaces.

According to previous years, the planetarium and science and technology museum will welcome a small peak of visitors before and after the school starts.

When citizens travel more, they can see real-time road information and avoid places with concentrated traffic flow appropriately.

According to statistics, there are 8 public holidays and working days without traffic restrictions in September this year.

The traffic management department expects that on the working days before the National Day, especially on the 29th and 30th, the traffic pressure in the whole city will surge, and major tourist attractions, railway stations and expressways in and out of Beijing are prone to heavy traffic, leading to traffic congestion.

In addition, the traffic management department screened out the following accident prone sections through statistical analysis of the accident situation in the first half of the year: Miguan Road, Beijing Harbin Expressway, Shuinan Road (𷷬夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿夿ä࣬夿࣬夿࣬夿夿22847.

The traffic control department reminds that drivers should pay attention to the road conditions when passing the above road sections, control the driving speed and keep safe driving.

The Traffic Management Bureau of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau recently released the Announcement on Announcing the New Use of Mobile Monitoring Equipment to Record Key Sections of Illegal Parking.

According to the announcement, in order to further standardize the static order environment of key roads in Beijing and strengthen the law enforcement of illegal parking, the Traffic Management Bureau of Beijing Public Security Bureau will use mobile monitoring equipment to carry out parking law enforcement on 236 road sections with no parking signs and markings.

The newly added mobile monitoring equipment will be announced to record illegal parking at key sections.
