After 1995, the female doctor rode 300 kilometers back to Wuhan: I was in the hospital, and the villagers would feel relieved

Gan Ruyi, 24, worked in Jinkou Hospital in Jiangxia District because she was worried about villagers and front-line colleagues.

She cycled nearly 300 kilometers from the countryside of Gong’an County, Jingzhou City to work in Han for 4 days.

After experiencing difficulties and dangers, she finally arrived at the unit safely and was short of staff.

She persuaded her parents to resolutely return to work in Wuhan.

Gan Ruyi, born in 1996, was a doctor in the laboratory of Fanhu Branch of Jinkou Central Hospital in Jiangxia District.

After the outbreak of the epidemic, Gan Ruyi, who had been on annual leave in his hometown of Yangjiawharfu Village, Banzhudang Town, Gong’an County, Jingzhou City, decided to return to the hospital to work, thinking that the staff of the unit were nervous.

After she told her parents about her idea, her parents firmly objected: “It’s too dangerous to return to Wuhan now.” Gan Ruyi told her mother that the epidemic is very serious now.

Even if she has a common cold, some villagers will panic.

“There are only two people in our department.

It will be very busy at this time.

When I go, I can give tests to more villagers to reassure them and relieve the pressure of colleagues.”.

“It is nearly 300 kilometers away from Wuhan.

The city has been closed, and now there is no public transport.

How can I get there?” Gan asked her daughter.

“It doesn’t matter.

I’ll go there by bike and ride a little less”, said Gan Ruyi.

Seeing that his daughter insisted on going back to the hospital to work, Gan’s father had to agree.

After persuading her parents, Gan Ruyi immediately contacted Chen Zongyong, the president of Jinkou Health Center, by telephone, and issued a return to work certificate, and applied for a temporary pass in the village.

On the first day of January 31, Gan Ruyi carried cookies, instant noodles and oranges in the eyes of her parents, and embarked on the way back to work.

At 10 a.m.

that day, Gan Ruyi started from Banzhudang Town, Gong’an County, rode 50 kilometers, and arrived at Gong’an County at 3 p.m.

For safety, she stayed with a distant relative of her father.

At 8:00 a.m.

on February 1, the next day, Gan Ruyi rode a bicycle for 5 hours and more than 100 kilometers, and arrived at Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge at 1:00 p.m.

The staff who closed the road did not allow bicycles to pass.

She left the car in a grocery store in Buhe Town near the bridge, and called her mother to pick up the car when she was free.

After walking from Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge to downtown, it was already dark.

Gan Ruyi looked for several streets, finally found a hotel, and ate a bowl of instant noodles before resting.

In the early morning of February 2, the third day, Gan Ruyi stopped a taxi at the roadside.

There were more than a dozen cars, but none of them wanted to go to Wuhan.

At 11 o’clock, anxious, she had to find a bike sharing, navigate by mobile phone, and ride along National Highway 318 toward Wuhan.

It was raining all the way.

Gan Ruyi, who didn’t bring a raincoat, was drenched and ran out of dry food.

He had to buy a bowl of instant noodles at a roadside shop to eat.

After that, he continued on his way.

At 8 o’clock in the evening, Gan Ruyi saw several policemen standing under the light at the intersection and said, “Finally we are in Qianjiang.”.

“How can you ride a bike at such a late hour?” Seeing Gan Ruyi who is exhausted, Shi Hu, a policeman from Qianjiang Public Security Bureau, helped her find a private hotel to stay in.

At night, he called again: “You should be careful at night and don’t open the door at will.

I will help you find a way tomorrow.” That night, Shi Hu reported the situation to the traffic police of Qianjiang Expressway, and the traffic police of Qianjiang Expressway agreed to help the girl to Wuhan.

On February 3 of the the fourth day, due to fog, the Qianjiang section of the expressway was released at 10 a.m.

Shi Hu, a policeman, helped Gan Ruyi find a hitchhiker to send blood to Wuhan.

At more than 12 o’clock on the same day, the bus arrived in Hanyang District.

After getting off the bus, Gan Ruyi bought a bowl of instant noodles on the street.

She found another bike sharing, navigated by her mobile phone, crossed Yangsigang Yangtze River Bridge, and went to Wujin Causeway to continue to ride.

The mobile phone was out of power and could not navigate.

Gan Ruyi, who was unfamiliar with the road, took many detours and arrived at the Fanhu Branch of Jinkou Health Center at 6:00 p.m.

“It was very dark at that time, and I was very afraid.

I rode faster and dared not turn back.” On February 5, a reporter from Changjiang Daily and Changjiang Network called President Chen of Jinkou Central Health Center.

President Chen said that Ruyi had been engaged in intense work as soon as she came back, so busy that she had no time to pay attention to her mobile phone.

At 6:30 p.m., the reporter contacted Gan Ruyi again.

She just got off work and had supper.

She told reporters that she had tested more than 20 blood samples a day.

“A lot of people called me today and interviewed me for more than an hour this morning,” she said.

She didn’t want to spend any more time on it and wanted to save more time.

This is the mission and responsibility for Gan Ruyi, 24, to praise the production of Changjiang Media.
